Hello everyone,
It is an OpitPoint500 with Hicom300 system. The drivers are installed. They are also displayed in the control panel without „!“. However, when I then want to set up the telephone in TAPICall, no telephone can be found. What could be the reason for this? Could it be that the USB interface or TAPICall itself must first be activated in the system?
I would also like to write my own application with Tapi.dll. Does anyone have experience with this? Or is there an OpenSoure project somewhere where you can see the programming.
Thank you very much.
Greetings Brian

With the CallBridge (, i.e. the Siemens-TAPI- driver for the OpitPoint 500 ), no TAPI- application is allowed to run during the device search. So please close Outlook and TAPICall, then go to the control panel and there to the phone- and modem options. You will find your driver under Advanced. If you configure it now, it will find the phone. You should then restart the computer and not go back to the driver configuration. Simply select the driver in TAPICall and you're done.
