Hello everyone,
Is it possible to transfer an outgoing call to a desktop telephone or DECT- telephone? So „call originate“, the outgoing call first rings the phones of the extension and when the handset is lifted, the call is established to the destination.
A customer of mine has a setup in which he has a desk phone, a DECT- headset and the softphone with USB- headset on the computer. The Tapi- connection runs via the driver of the (Placetel) softphone. For reasons of convenience, the customer does not want to be tied to the softphone when telephoning out.
In the IP/Asterisk- world I have written a ClickToDial- tool for this purpose, which can do exactly that via the PBX interface. Now I wonder if it also works in the Tapi- world. If so, then TapiCall would be the perfect software for the customer 🙂
Best regards
Richie
