System control

You can display the installed TSPs (TAPI-Service-Provider) via [Start], [Settings], [Control Panel], [Phone and Modem Options], [Advanced].

Attention, there are many TAPI- drivers already installed by Windows. You cannot use these drivers. You must see the driver from the manufacturer of your hardware. Pre-installed are:
- Service provider for universal modem 5
- Microsoft H.323-telephony service provider
- Microsoft HID-Phone-TSP
- Microsoft Multicast-TAPI-Service provider
- NDIS-Proxy-TAPI-Service provider
- TAPI-Kernel mode-Service provider

If you have installed your TAPI- driver and cannot find it there as an additional entry, you should be able to add it using the [add] function.

Via [Configure] you can then access the manufacturer's dialogue for making frequently important settings. The button is deactivated on the AVM FRITZ!Box (FBF). To reconfigure this driver, you must reinstall it.

Many TAPI- drivers (z.B. Siemens and Elmeg) report directly here whether there is a connection to the (z.B.) device via USB.
